When you need a tree removed

Not every tree needs to come down — and a good arborist will tell you when pruning, cabling, or watching-and-waiting is the right move instead. But some trees have crossed a line where the smartest, safest decision is removal: dead canopy over the house, a fresh lean with heaved soil, internal decay, hypoxylon canker on a mature oak, or an aggressive species in the wrong place. We'll walk the property with you and tell you honestly which trees we'd take down and which we'd save.

What's included in our removal service

Felling or sectional dismantling depending on the tree's size and surroundings. All cuts roped or rigged when needed to protect structures, fences, gardens, and turf. Brush chipped on site. Logs cut to manageable lengths and either hauled away or stacked for you. Driveway and lawn blown clean before we leave. Stump grinding available as an add-on or separate visit.

Tight lots, slopes, and structures — that's our normal

A lot of our service area sits on slopes and ridges where bucket trucks can't reach. We're set up to work as climbers when access is limited, dropping or rigging piece by piece from the canopy down. This is the part of the job where experience separates real tree services from weekend crews — and it's where most of our work happens.

Pricing and what drives it

Removal cost depends much more on access, proximity to structures, and species than on the tree's height alone. A 60-foot pine in an open backyard with truck access is often a fraction of the cost of a 40-foot oak hanging over a roof on a steep lot. We do free in-person estimates so you get a real number — not a phone guess.
